Baby's First Thanksgiving

We were so excited to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Jude this year.  We've always had so much to be thankful for, with our amazing family, friends and health, but this year, we were thankful for the most precious thing of all --Jude.  We are such a blessed little family, and it was so meaningful to celebrate it with Jude.

His Aunt Laura got him some adorable Thanksgiving pajamas long before Thanksgiving (we'd been wearing them since September), and I had to get some shots of him in those cute jammies.

We went out to the Shelbville Country Club and had an early Thanksgiving with The Gardner family and their friends.  We had the whole place to ourselves, and their friends were lots of fun...they all sang, had a dessert contest -- judged on appearance and taste, and let me tell you, one of the "desserts" was a carnival, creepy mannequin clown included!  We had such a yummy dinner.  Momma D even made Jude his own placemat, and had him eating off of china!  Classy lady :)

He got a little tuckered out after a big meal and all the festivities.  He never naps on me now!  But look how sweet he is here with his Mommy.

We had plans to go visit with the Stevenson's and Austin's, but there were torrential downpours heading home.  We thought it would be safer to go home, than to try a test Mother Nature.  We (me and Lonnie) ate White Castles for dinner because we had no food at home, and that was the only thing open!  We got to spend Thanksgiving with the extended side of the Stevenson's a few days later, so we still got to celebrate the holiday with all our family.
Now all we have to do is wait for Santa's reindeer!!
